During the almost two decades since Chuckie first opened our gym after playing for the Indianapolis Colts, we have seen that most of our clientele benefits from leveraging a variety of styles of training. We do not practice any one system or method; instead, whether it's crossfit, calisthenics, or weight resistance training, our team believes in using the right system for the individual. Better Bodies Fitness Center is owned and operated by former NFL player Chuckie Miller. Chuckie has been involved in sports exercise and coaching for 20 years. He is a Long Beach native where he starred on Long Beach Poly's football team. He was a collegiate All-American, playing for UCLA, before he went into the NFL and played for the Indianapolis Colts and Detroit Lions.
He remains associated with athletes and entertainers as a fitness trainer for over 20 years. He has trained numerous professional athletes, most noteable several potential and current NFL players. Entertainer and business executives consult with him for their fitness regimen. He works daily with individuals at all fitness levels and backgrounds to improve their overall well-being.
Ashley Helton is a former UCLA sprinter whom is extremely thorough when it comes to servicing her clientele. She is known for her pure work ethic and most specifically tailoring workouts to her clients needs. Ashley likes to focus on toning and ensuring her clients perform to the best of their abilities . She is an expert in running mechanics which she believes is a key component to becoming an elite athlete.
